Pure Kaʻū Beeswax Bars

Description

This beeswax comes from hives here in Kaʻū that we help care for. It is a simple local product with a direct connection to the land, the hives, and the work that goes into tending them.

The wax is formed into convenient 1 oz and 3 oz bars, making it easy to measure and use for candle making, craft projects, household uses, and other projects that call for beeswax.

Like honey, beeswax carries some of the character of the season around the hive. Its color and natural aroma can vary depending on what is blooming at the time. This batch comes from what we locally refer to as the spring blossom period and has a pronounced floral scent.

The bars retain the warm golden character of the wax and may show small variations in color, surface, or finish from one bar to another. Those differences are a natural part of working with a real agricultural product rather than something manufactured to look perfectly identical.
