Description
From Pure KAʻŪ on Hawaiʻi Island, these raw in-shell macadamia nuts are grown in Kaʻū, sorted for quality, and shipped with care.
For large parrots, the hard shell adds to the experience: they can grip, work at, and crack the nut, turning treat time into a natural foraging challenge. Offer as part of a balanced diet in an amount appropriate for your bird.
Feeding & Safety
These raw in-shell macadamia nuts are intended for appropriate large parrots with the beak strength and experience to open the shell. Offer in moderation as part of a balanced diet, and consult an avian veterinarian if you are unsure whether in-shell macadamia nuts are appropriate for your bird.
Important: Keep macadamia nuts away from dogs.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. For larger orders or longer storage, keep the nuts sealed and refrigerated or frozen to help maintain freshness.
